A globally operating organization is seeking an experienced Systems & Network Engineer to join its Japan infrastructure team. This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer who enjoys balancing network design, implementation, and architecture with hands-on operations in a business-critical environment. You’ll play a key role in maintaining highly available network infrastructure while supporting multiple office locations and collaborating with global technology teams. The environment combines enterprise networking, cloud services, physical security systems, and modern infrastructure platforms, making it an ideal role for someone looking to broaden their technical expertise while taking ownership of core infrastructure. Key Responsibilities As a Systems & Network Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, maintaining, and continuously improving the organization’s IT infrastructure. Your responsibilities will include: Network Infrastructure

• Design, configure, monitor, and troubleshoot enterprise network infrastructure
• Support large-scale wireless environments and ensure stable connectivity
• Perform network performance analysis, optimization, and capacity planning
• Maintain network documentation, diagrams, and configuration records

Systems & Cloud Infrastructure

• Deploy, administer, and maintain Windows and Linux environments
• Support cloud-based platforms and enterprise collaboration tools
• Manage virtualization, containerized workloads, and supporting infrastructure
• Implement infrastructure improvements that increase reliability and scalability

Security & Access Management

• Support enterprise access control and authentication systems
• Apply network security best practices and contribute to security improvements
• Participate in infrastructure projects involving Zero Trust and modern security architectures

Operations & Support

• Investigate and resolve complex infrastructure incidents
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and global technology teams
• Work with external vendors for hardware, software, and infrastructure services
• Participate in an on-call rotation for critical infrastructure incidents
• Travel occasionally to support multiple office locations within Japan
